Notes:
If you have worked any corner to corner patterns, this should come fairly easy to you. It is worked using hdc’s instead of the normal dc’s, so it works up pretty quickly.

Row 1 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch (4 hdcs makes up block). Turn.

Row 2 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space.  Turn.

Row 3 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next block.  Turn.

Row 4 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next 2 blocks.  Turn.

Row 5 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next 3 blocks.  Turn.

Row 6 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next 4 blocks.  Turn.

Row 7 – 10 Continue in the same manner as previous rows, increasing with each row.  (Hint: for row 7, you should have a total of 7 blocks, row 8 a total of 8 blocks, etc.)

Row 11 ss up the side of last block completed in previous row, ss into ch 3 space (total of 4 ss).  Ch 3, 3 hdc into ch 3 space. (You are working your blocks exactly the same, but now we are decreasing how many we will have across.)  Work blocks across your row just as you have been. When you reach the last block, do not work a new one, but just ss into the ch 3 space.  Turn

Row 12 – 19 Repeat Row 11, decreasing until you are down to 1 block.  Do not finish off!

Ch 1, work 2 rounds of evenly space sc’s around entire cloth, working 3 sc’s into each corner
