Sunflower Scrubbie

Skill Level:   Easy

Materials:

·      Black or brown cotton yarn

·      Yellow cotton yarn

·      4.50 hook

·      Yarn needle for weaving in ends

 Abbreviations:  

ch = chain                        sc = single crochet

st(s) = stitch(es)               dc = double crochet

ss = slip stitch                  tr = triple crochet

sk = skip

Instructions

Pattern is worked in the round. Do not turn at the end of round.

ROUND 1  With black, magic circle, ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc 9 times. Ss to ch 2 to join.  (10 hdc)

ROUND 2 Ch 2, hdc in same st, 2 hdc in each st around. Ss to join. (20 hdc)

ROUND 3 Ch 2, 2 hdc in next, *hdc  in next, 2 hdc in next* repeat from*to* around. Ss to join. (30 hdc)

ROUND 4  Switch to yellow. Ch 1, all in the same st dc, tr, ch 1, tr, dc, sc, sk 1 *all in same st sc, dc, tr, ch 1, tr, dc, sc, sk 1* around.  Ss into same st as beginning ch 1. Fasten off and weave in ends.
