New Pattern Released!
This pattern uses worsted weight yarn (I used Caron One Pound) and a 5.50 mm crochet hook. It works up fairly quick!  The pattern uses a special stitch, and there are written instructions to walk you through the stitch.

Christie's Criss Cross Cloth Free Crochet Pattern






Criss Cross Cloth
Skill Level:   Easy
Materials:
·      1 ball of cotton yarn
·      5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook
·      Yarn needle for weaving in ends



Abbreviations:  
ch = chain                        dc = double crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)               sc = single crochet
ss = slip stitch                  sk = skip







Instructions

ROW 1 ch 26, dc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch across (24 dc)
ROW 2 ch 2, sk 1 and dc in next, then dc in skipped st (making an X), *sk 1 and dc in next, then dc in skipped st*  continue from*to*  across. (24 dc)
ROW 3 -11 repeat ROW 2

ROW 12 ch 2, dc in each st across. Finish off. Weave in ends. 

Corner to Corner Dishcloth Free Crochet Pattern



Corner to Corner Dishcloth

Materials:
·      1 ball worsted weight cotton
·      5.5 mm (I-9) crochet hook
·      Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:   not necessary

Abbreviations:  
ch = chain                        hdc = half double crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)          
ss = slip stitch                




Notes:
If you have worked any corner to corner patterns, this should come fairly easy to you. It is worked using hdc’s instead of the normal dc’s, so it works up pretty quickly.




Row 1 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch (4 hdcs makes up block). Turn.

Row 2 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space.  Turn.

Row 3 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next block.  Turn.

Row 4 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next 2 blocks.  Turn.



Row 5 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next 3 blocks.  Turn.

Row 6 Ch 6, hdc into 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch.  Working in ch 3 space from block in previous row, *ss, ch 3, 3 hdc* all in same space, repeat from *to* for next 4 blocks.  Turn.

Row 7 – 10 Continue in the same manner as previous rows, increasing with each row.  (Hint: for row 7, you should have a total of 7 blocks, row 8 a total of 8 blocks, etc.) 

Row 11 ss up the side of last block completed in previous row, ss into ch 3 space (total of 4 ss).  Ch 3, 3 hdc into ch 3 space. (You are working your blocks exactly the same, but now we are decreasing how many we will have across.)  Work blocks across your row just as you have been. When you reach the last block, do not work a new one, but just ss into the ch 3 space.  Turn

Row 12 – 19 Repeat Row 11, decreasing until you are down to 1 block.  Do not finish off! 

Ch 1, work 2 rounds of evenly space sc’s around entire cloth, working 3 sc’s into each corner

Easy dishcloth Free Crochet pattern




Easy dishcloth or washcloth


Skill Level:   Easy
Materials:
·      worsted weight cotton yarn
·      5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook
·      Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:   16 stitches and 9 rows in hdc = 4” (10 cm)
CHECK YOUR GAUGE - adjust hook size if needed

Abbreviations:  
ch = chain                        hdc = half double crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)              sc = single crochet

ss = slip stitch                



Instructions

ROW 1  Ch 26, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 2, turn. (24 hdc)
ROW 2  Working in back loops only, hdc in each st across. Ch 2, turn. (24 hdc)
ROW 3 – 12  Repeat ROW 2. Do not turn or fasten off at the end of ROW 12.

ROUND 1  Ch 1, sc 2 in each row end down 1st side, sc 24 evenly across bottom, sc 2 in each row end up the other side, sc 24 across top. DO NOT TURN.

ROUND 2  sc in first 4 sts, ch 1 and ss in same  space as 4th sc. Continue in this manner around the entire cloth.  Ss to first sc to join. Fasten off and weave in ends. 

Face Scrubby Free Crochet Pattern

Materials:
·      Worsted weight cotton yarn
·      5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook
·      Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:   not important for this project

Abbreviations:  
ch = chain                        bs =  bobble stitch
st(s) = stitch(es)           sc = single crochet
ss = slip stitch                 hdc = half double crochet




Special stitch explanation:  Bobble stitch (bs) yo, insert hook into next st, yo, pull up a loop 5 times, then yo and pull your hook through all of the yarn on your hook.  Close the top of the st with a ch.

Instructions

Bottom
Row 1 Ch 11, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, and each ch across. Turn. (9 hdc)
Row 2,  ch 2, hdc, bs, hdc next 2, bs, hdc next 2, bs, hdc. Turn. (9 sts)
Row 3, ch 2, hdc across, skipping 1st st on top of each bs. Turn. (9 hdc)
Row 4 – 9 Repeat Rows 2 and 3, ending with Row 3. 
At the end of Row 9, finish off and set aside.

Top
Row 1 Ch 11, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, and each ch across. Turn. (9 hdc)
Row 2 Ch 2, hdc across. Turn. (9 hdc)
Row 3 – 9 Repeat Row 2
At the end of Row 9, do not finish off.

Line the two pieces up, with the wrong sides facing each other. (You want your bobbles to pop out on the right side.) 
Ch 1, sc into the corner of BOTH pieces, stitching them together.  Sc down the long side, making sure you are going through both layers. When you get to the corner, work 3 sc’s into corner st. 
Continuing around to the short side, sc in the next 3 sts. Ch 17.  Hdc in 3rd ch from hook, and each st back down the chain.  Ss and sc into next st on your main piece, then continue working sc’s around your piece. (Do not forget to work 3 sc’s into the corners.)
When you reach the last side, (after you work 3 sc’s into the corner) sc into the next 3, then place the other end of your handle between the two pieces of your main piece.  Ss in the next 2, making sure you go through all 3 layers.
Continue with your sc’s to the corner, then work 3 sc’s into last corner and finish off.

Do not finish off!
Put your top and bottom together with “wrong” sides facing each other. It really do not matter which side you use as your “wrong” side, I just use the side where my ends are sticking out so I can hide them easily inside of the scrubby! 
You may want to use a stitch marker or 2 to hold them together if you are having trouble holding them and stitching them together at once.

Ss top and bottom together, when you get halfway around your circles, tuck the other end of your handle between your top and bottom, make sure you ss goes through all 3 layers, then finish ss around to end. (You should have 40 ss)  Finish off and enjoy!  

Reusable Nursing Pad Free Crochet Pattern






Reusable Nursing Pads

·         5.00 mm (H/8) hook
·         Ww cotton yarn (about half a ball)
·         Yarn needle for weaving in ends


Ch 2 counts as first hdc
Do not turn at end of round

Make 2
Round 1 Magic Circle, ch 2, hdc 9 times into circle, join with ss into ch 2. (10 hdc)
Round 2 ch 2, hdc in same st, 2 hdc in each around, join.  (20 hdc)
Round 3 ch 2, 2 hdc, *hdc, 2 hdc* around, join. (30 hdc)
Round 4 ch 2,  hdc in next, 2 hdc, *hdc in next 2, 2 hdc* around, join. (40 hdc)
Round 5 ch 2, hdc in next 2, 2 hdc, *hdc in next 3, 2 hdc*around, join. (50 hdc)

Finish off and weave in ends. That’s it! 

Textured Scrubby Free Crochet Pattern

Abbreviations:  
ch = chain                        hdc = half double crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)           sc = single crochet
ss = slip stitch                




Notes:

Do not count your starting ch 2 in your stitch count

Main pieces

Make 2
Row 1  Ch 15, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch across.  Turn. (13 hdc)
Row 2  Ch 2, in back loops only, hdc across. Turn. (13 hdc)
Row 3 thru 6 Repeat Row 2.

Finish off your first piece, do not finish off at the end of your 2nd piece.
Holding both pieces together, ch 1 then sc into corner st (make sure you are going through both layers). Sc 4 down short side of rectangle. 

Ch 20, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch back to beginning of ch.  Ss in next st to join handle to main piece. (You will be connecting the other end of your handle when you work around to that side.)  Sc in same st as ss, then continue sc’s around edges of main piece.

 When you get to the corners, work 3 sc into each corner.  When you reach the other short side, sc 4, then holding the other end of the handle between your 2 main pieces, ss through all 3 layers in next 2 sts.


Work sc’s around to the corner you started at, working 2 sc in last corner.  Finish off and weave in ends.
